Tuesday: Bowl Bits Comedy Night
Join us TONIGHT for “bowl bits” crowd-driven comedy, kicking off at 7:30 p.m.
Here’s how it works:
- You supply the topics by tossing your idea into our topic bowl
- Our stellar cast of comics randomly draws them out
- Hilariousness ensues
Comedy nights are popular around here, so come early, thirsty, and ready to laugh.
Thursday: Laughs at Lakeview
Lots of laughs, a group of Chicago’s top and up-and-coming comedians, and refreshing brews? What better way is there to spend your Thursday night? Join us for Laughs at Lakeview for a hilarious night of standup comedy that you and your friends will love.
The show kicks off at 7 p.m. and seats are first come first serve, so we recommend getting here a bit early to get a good spot. As always, tickets are $5 and the show is 21+.
Friday: Half Acre Tap Takeover
Half Acre = all delicious. So we’re delighted to announce that Half Acre Beer Company is taking over taps at the Lakeview Taproom this Friday.
They’ll be rolling on through with 3 new additions to our tap lineup, including:
- 2019 Big Hugs – an imperial coffee stout
- 2019 BBA Big Hugs – a bourbon barrel-aged imperial coffee stout
- Daisy Cutter – a pale ale
Yum! Plus, they’ll be hosting a variety of raffles for Half Acre swag and prizes all night long, starting at 6 pm. So come thirsty and ready for fun.
Saturday: Live Music by Opal City Poker Chips
This Saturday, we’ve got some rockin’ plans to brighten up your weekend.
American roots band Opal City Poker Chips will join us for a special live music performance on Saturday, from 3 – 6 pm. They play a blend of acoustic and electrical music that includes swing, traditional country, blues, and rock and roll.
Between the music and our big ol’ lineup of hyper-local Chicago beers on tap, we’re rocking something for everyone this Saturday afternoon.
Sunday: Chitown Creatives Open Mic
Join us to celebrate local performers with an evening of acoustic music, spoken word, poetry, and more this Sunday!
Chitown Creatives variety open mic night kicks off at 6 pm, hosted by Sylvia Mendez. Enjoy performances by fantastic local artists like Chris Hoffman, Ryan Sevilla, Rhys Bakulinski, and more. Seating is first come, first serve. And if you’re interested in performing, sign ups begin at 5:30 pm.

Your favorite sip and paint series, Brushes and Brews with Jaime Elaine Designs, is back next Tuesday night from 6 – 8 pm.

Lakeview Pantry Food Drive
20% off beer for do-gooders!
Toast the holiday season and give back to the local community by bringing in a donation for the Lakeview Pantry, and we’ll give you 20% off that first beer.
One of the largest and longest-operating food pantries in Chicago, this organization serves nearly 200,000 individuals each year by providing 4 million meals through their programs. If you would like to donate, bring in items including:
- Unopened, unexpired, and non-perishable food items
- New and unopened personal hygiene products, bathroom supplies, and cleaning supplies

Quick reminder:
This holiday season, we’re participating in the Lakeview Holiday Passport Program. What is this program, you ask? Lakeview Roscoe Village’s holiday passport helps support local businesses by rewarding patrons for shopping Lakeview.
Via the Eventzee app submit a photo of your receipt to earn points and be automatically entered to win unique prize packages full of local goods from Lakeview businesses.
