New On Tap
We’ve added two delicious new beers to our lineup: first, Buzz Worthy from Spiteful Brewing:
A Pale Ale brewed with locally sourced honey from The Chicago Botanic Garden. A refreshing hoppy pale ale without the bitterness of an IPA. The dry finish and slight touch of sweetness comes from the honey harvested at the Rodeo Farm, one of the garden’s urban farm sites run by Windy City Harvest. Italian honeybees, called Minnesota Hygienic Italian, help pollinate crops on their 1-acre market and training farm.
Then, Flywheel from Metropolitan Brewing:
Flywheel Pilsner Bier features the spicy hop flavors and bitterness you expect in a Pilsner, but with an amped up malt bill for balance. Start with a gentle hop aroma that reminds you of the beer your folks drank at the ballpark when you were a kid. Then get into the firm malt flavors of bread or biscuit. Earthy and bright hop bitterness gets equal attention, of course. And then everything wraps up dry and crisp.

Bears Preseason Football
Da Bears are back this Saturday! We had so much fun opening up early last week that we’re doing it again. Join us at noon for a special Bears preseason screening!
We’ve got an awesome selection of 14 hyper-local beers on tap, so you’ll have plenty of delicious brews to choose from as you cheer on your favorite team.
Bowl Bits Comedy Night
This Monday, join us for a comedy night with a twist! “Bowl bits” crowd-driven comedy will be kicking off at 7:30 p.m.
Here’s how it works:
- You think up some fun topics and toss your ideas into our topic bowl
- Our hilarious cast of comics randomly draws them out
- The show commences!
This hysterical show is hosted by Seth Payne and Kristi G., and you won’t want to miss it. Come experience the fun for yourself!
Brushes and Brews
We’ve had so much fun at our previous Brushes and Brews events, and we can’t wait to bring it back again!
Brushes and Brews is on this upcoming Tuesday from 6 – 8 pm! Join us for a fun painting session with our hostess Jaime Elaine Designs, and don’t forget to grab an ice-cold brew while you’re at it.
To get signed up, simply visit our Brushes & Brews page, and Jaime will set you up. Tickets are $30 each with advance sign-up, and $35 at the door (all painting supplies are provided). First-timers who bring a friend will receive a discounted rate of $25.
